I may have mentioned before that I’m trying to re-establish some of the good habits I developed a couple years ago; habits that helped me lose weight and keep it off. For a while anyway. I haven’t fallen completely off the wagon or gained it all back, but it’s so easy to slip back into old routines, especially the bad ones. One of the good habits I had was walking during lunch. I walked nearly every day unless I had a Zumba class later in the day. Usually, I would walk in the warehouse where the climate-controlled aisles were easy to navigate and all the forklifts and other equipment were safely parked and out of my way. But then there are some fall days when you want to breathe in the fresh air and look up at the sky while you get those steps in (and resist the temptation to just keep on walking when your lunch break is over).
